Yes — $75 is the minimum order, because a truck, a two-person crew and a landfill gate fee cost the same whether they come for one chair or ten. If you only have a single small item, it's usually worth adding whatever else you've been meaning to clear: the photo quote prices the whole pile together rather than charging per trip.
For some residents, in a limited way. Austin Resource Recovery runs an on-demand bulk request system at austintexas.gov/service/ondemand — eligible households request a bulk pickup instead of waiting for an annual set-out, and get a limited number of free collections per service year, with a volume cap on each one.
The catches are the important part. It's only for City-of-Austin curbside-trash customers, so apartment and condo residents are excluded outright and most of the surrounding suburbs aren't on it at all. It's curbside only — you carry everything out of the house yourself and leave it sitting at the street until the truck eventually comes. And once you've used your allotted pickups or gone over the volume cap for the year, the program is finished helping you. Every one of those gaps is what we're for: we come to the room, carry it out, and haul it the same visit.
Those are separate cities outside the City of Austin, so Austin's on-demand request system doesn't cover them at all. Each runs its own contracted residential collection on a set bulk schedule. Look up your own city's bulk day before you stage anything in the driveway — in a master-planned HOA subdivision, a pile that waits days for the truck is precisely what the appearance covenant was written about. We serve the whole belt: Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Hutto, Buda, Kyle and Lakeway — and we load from the garage instead.
Constantly — Austin homes are slab-built with no basements, so the garage is where decades of stuff piles up. We clear boxes, old furniture, appliances, and exercise equipment as truck-fill, hauled from the garage so the HOA never sees a curb pile. A quarter truck is $241 and a floor-to-rafters three-car clear is $732, quoted from one wide photo of the open bay, with the slab swept before we leave. Not from us — nothing of yours ever reaches the curb. HOA covenants across Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, Circle C, Mueller, Sun City and the gated Lakeway communities restrict how long bulk may sit visible out front, and enforcement arrives as a photograph and a letter rather than a conversation. We load from inside the garage or the home on a scheduled window and drive off with it in the same visit, so there's no in-between state for anyone to photograph. Yes — a refrigerator is $164, a large refrigerator $246, a chest freezer $146, a mini fridge $115, a window AC unit $79. Anything holding refrigerant goes through EPA-certified refrigerant recovery before disposal, which is both a real legal requirement and a real line cost, and it's already inside the flat price. Yes — UT leases end July 31, so West Campus and Riverside fill up with furniture every August. We come during the move-out crush, often same-day, and clear the whole apartment, flat-priced from a photo, usable pieces donated. A queen mattress is $103 and a sofa $126 on their own; a whole unit is usually cheaper priced as truck-fill. Yes — Tarrytown, Westlake, and Georgetown's Sun City estate and downsizing cleanouts are routine. Discreet, donation-routed, careful with fine furniture, priced as truck-fill for the whole job. Westlake and Rollingwood are appearance-strict independent municipalities with long private drives and no curb staging, which suits exactly how we work: everything comes out of the house and into the truck in one visit. Yes. The Rainey Street, downtown, and Domain high-rises require a Certificate of Insurance naming the association and a reserved freight elevator. We file the COI and book the elevator and dock window — included in the flat price. Buildings here typically want at least $1M general liability per occurrence with the management company named as additional insured, and freight elevators are usually reserved several business days ahead, so tell us the building when you book rather than the morning of. Your building is added as additional insured, coverage is primary and non-contributory, and a waiver of subrogation applies.
Often yes, when a slot is open, with no same-day surcharge. Send a photo and we'll quote the soonest window across Austin and the Williamson/Hays suburbs. The exceptions are the jobs that depend on someone else's calendar — a tower freight elevator booked days out, or a gated community that needs a vendor added to the access list first. No — and that's the whole difference between us and a municipal bulk program. We come to the room, the garage, the storage unit or the third-floor apartment the item is actually in, and carry it out ourselves: stairs, elevators, long Westlake drives and all. You point, we lift. Nothing is staged at the street, and there are no stair or long-carry surcharges stacked onto the quoted price.

Furniture, mattresses, appliances, electronics, exercise equipment, construction/renovation debris, garage and full-home or estate cleanouts. We can't take hazardous materials (paint, chemicals, propane) — ask us and we'll point you the right way. Loose gasoline, solvents, asbestos and medical waste are off the list too; nearly everything else in a house, garage or storage unit is fair game.
Donation first, landfill last. Usable furniture, housewares, bikes and kids' gear go to Goodwill Central Texas, the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, ARC Resale, the Austin Furniture Bank, and to MoveOutATX donation stations during the UT move-out season — with a receipt on request. Metal goes out as scrap, TVs and computers go to e-waste recycling, and refrigerant appliances go through EPA-certified recovery. What genuinely can't be reused goes to the TDS Creedmoor landfill south of Austin, the commercial gate we pay at.
